At Communities In Schools of Ohio, we believe every student deserves the support they need to succeed. We’re looking for a strategic, relationship-driven leader to serve as our next Chief Development Officer (CDO) and help expand our impact across the state.
What You’ll Do
As a key member of our executive leadership team, you will:
- Lead and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy
- Grow revenue through major gifts, corporate partnerships, grants & events
- Build and steward strong relationships with donors, partners, and stakeholders
- Mentor and lead a high-performing development team
- Partner with the CEO and Board to drive a culture of philanthropy
Who You Are
- Proven leader with 8+ years in fundraising/development
- Strong track record of securing major gifts and diverse funding streams
- Skilled in relationship-building, strategy, and team leadership
- Passionate about education, equity, and student success
